The Before/After School Martial Arts Program (AMP) is a great solution to parents who need before and/or After School care for their children. Our AMP is designed to accommodate the working schedules of parents while giving children a clean, safe and fun environment to attend before their school day begins and/or after their school day is over.

There is no longer a need to worry about getting off to work early in the morning and needing supervision for your children. Our schools provide transportation to the local school districts every morning with an excersise class to get them started on the right track for that day. Your child can be dropped off as early as 7:00am in a safe and supervised environment and you may leave knowing that your child will be transported timely and safely to school.

 

THE PERFECT SOLUTION FOR BUSY FAMILIES

At the end of the day, there is no need to worry about where your children are going after the last school bell rings. Our buses are ready to pick up your children directly from school and bring them to our location. Each child is enrolled in our Martial Arts Program which includes the learning of Taekwondo along with the important values stressed in our Program including:

  • Focus
  • Discipline
  • Leadership
  • Self-Control

An additional advantage of our AMP is that we host full day programs 7am to 6pm on most holidays, school vacations, 1/2 days and any other days that children are off from school. Busy and/or working parents can rest assured that their children are in a safe, positive environment and participating in structured martial arts classes, martial arts games/activities and character development discussions.

We know that the parents have to work, we at SMA want to make it as easy as possible so all of the nonholiday days are taken care of. All of these benefits with no additional cost to the parents. These full days start as early as 7:00am and pick up as late as 6:00pm with scheduled activities throughout the day. This program is a 52 week program and includes 8 weeks of summer camp!

I'm also proud of his confidence because he does things now in which I get nervous for him but he just steps up and takes new things head-on.  He just had an audition for theater arts and only had 5 days to prepare a song and I'm so nervous for him and he just waltzes right in there and gets a speaking part. Attaining my Black Belt means I have completed 6 years of hard work. I persevered through all of the belt levels with a group of amazing Instructors. I learned how to be more respectful to people. I learned to be more confident and focused.

Being a Black Belt means taking pride in your appearance, setting a good example and working to be the best you can be. The martial arts has helped me become a better person by making me more confident in everything I do. In school it has helped me relax and focus on my school work. Overall the martial arts has helped me in every area of my life. Now I don’t let my fears overwhelm me when trying something new. I’m able to keep calm by focusing and using my meditation techniques.

My future goals are to become a Leadership Program Instructor and mentor someone to Black Belt just like was done for me.
